March 27, 2020 – Starting this week, our primary warehouse is temporarily shifting production towards surgical face masks. We bought supplies on Tuesday, tested prototypes on Wednesday and we set up a production line on Thursday. Our goal is to ramp up to 1,000 face masks daily over the next couple of weeks. We already have requests from a number of major hospitals, as well as smaller, local clinics and individuals. We would appreciate any feedback via email at: MyOutfits@NadineWest.com
March 26, 2020 – We are now primarily an emergency face mask supplier. Although we are not completely shutting down our operations, you will see some delays in your shipments. Many of you will continue to receive outfits, via our smaller auxiliary facility. If you have questions or concerns, email Member Support at any time. They are happy to take care of you: MyOutfits@NadineWest.com
March 25, 2020 – Nadine West is strong, operational and the warehouse staff is operating clean. As long as the USPS remains open we will continue sending out packages. We would appreciate any feedback via email at: MyOutfits@NadineWest.com
March 24, 2020 – As we learn new information we will continue to update this page to keep you informed about how we are continuing to operate during the current local, national and global lock down. A letter from Nadine West
To All Members,
I hope this message finds you well. My hope is that today’s update gives you a little clarity on what’s going on with Nadine West, along with some thoughts about what’s next.
After communicating with several of our members, it seems obvious to us that what you want more than anything right now is for things to get back to normal (Whatever normal looks like for you – we don’t judge)…So that’s just what we’re going to do! We are going to keep operating as though you still matter and the rest of the world is as it was before any of us learned about Covid-19.
Of course, we want you to know that we are doing everything we can to keep our employees and members safe (and we are – see below). Our amazing warehouse staff is taking every preventative measure to distance themselves from each other, so we’re pretty confident you’re not going to get anything from them (Other than pink packages). And our team of stylists all work from home, dorms and small caves – so, yeah, we’re good there, too.
We want you to let us know if you have any questions. Don’t hesitate to email us (MyOutfits@NadineWest.com) or reach out to us on Facebook at any time! We’re here for you (You know, as long as what you need are cute clothes at affordable prices)!
Love,
Nadine West
Answers to some questions you might have:
MEMBER SAFETY
Will Nadine West work with their members to prevent charges from late returns due to COVID-19?
We will continue to work with our members under all circumstances. Should you need assistance, at any time of the day, simply email Member Support and we will take care of you: MyOutfits@NadineWest.com
Can Nadine West confirm that they are not transmitting the COVID-19 virus on their products/clothes, accessories and/or packaging materials?
We are not transmitting the COVID-19 virus on our product or packaging.
On fabric, at most, the virus lives about 24 hours. On plastic, the virus lives about 3 days. Everything inside of the package is 100% safe by the time it arrives at your home. We recommend wiping the outside of the package (with a sanitary wipe) as soon as it arrives. The inside of the package is safe.
EMPLOYEE SAFETY
What is Nadine West doing to protect their staff/team/employees?
It would be personally devastating if one of our team was infected, so we’re doing everything we can to keep them safe and employed during this challenging time. We are more than grateful to have such an amazing team. They are the reason we are in such a strong position, while so many companies are, unfortunately, struggling to survive. It’s through their creativity, hard work, and focus that we are in such a good position today.
How is the company keeping employees safe during this challenging time:
- NW’s CEO has a medical background and serves on the board of a non-profit that serves patients living with rare diseases or chronic illnesses, as well as their caregivers, family, and friends
- We’ve assembled an informal medical advisory board consisting of med-students and medical professionals
- Thorough hand washing, every hour, for all warehouse staff
- There is strict, frequent disinfecting of tablets, work stations, and common-use surfaces
- Partitions are set up to separate all warehouse workstations
- There is strict social distance in the break-room during breaks and lunch (Many people are eating lunch in their cars, to be extra safe)
- There are two air-purifiers with UV-C germicidal lights in the break-room
- The warehouse bay doors remain open for maximum ventilation
- 100% of staff is wearing protective face masks
What if the City of Austin, TX announces a stronger Shelter-In-Place order:
Our warehouse is located in Travis County, TX in the city of Austin, TX. Currently, our county is under a shelter-in-place order, but we are taking preventative measures to keep the warehouse open and operating with a skeleton crew. This will cause some delays in shipments. However, we are doing everything we can to prevent this and we are in the process of looking into creative ways to keep our operations as efficient as possible.
As long as officials let us operate the warehouse, with all safety precautions in place, we are in good shape. Should the city go on further lock down we will make an announcement on Facebook and notify all members of delays in their shipments. Let’s pray that people listen to officials and maintain social distance here in the U.S. and around the world.
POSTAL CARRIERS
What is Nadine West doing to protect our postal carriers?
We love our postal workers as much as you do. We’re following their guidelines very closely.

What if things get worse?
The truth is, Nadine West is not really in the “apparel business.” Nadine West is in the happiness delivery business. Yes, we sell outfits to the everyday woman. But, really, Nadine West is a tribe of smart, hard-working, creative people who come together to deliver happiness to our members.
We are in the happiness business, and that will never change, even if our offerings evolve over time.
What does the future look like?
There is absolutely no doubt that Nadine West will emerge stronger than ever, once this crisis is over.
The core fundamentals of the Nadine West business model have not changed. Members love Nadine West. All teams run very efficiently so that we can keep prices low. In tough economic times, Nadine West’s low prices are even more appealing.
Nadine West’s DNA has always included frugality and efficiency, so we don’t need to change who we are at all. If you haven’t seen a picture of our first Nadine West warehouse, it’s this beautiful facility below. What could be more frugal than that?
